Aaron Carretti (American, b. 1984)

Carretti is a designer and artist based in Los Angeles, California.

As a commercial designer, Carretti has collaborated with an extensive list of artists—from illustrator Geoff McFetridge, to director Spike Jonze, to the band OK GO. He has designed for Apple, Facebook/Meta, Airbnb, and other iconic brands across global campaigns, high stakes packaging, and company-wide branding work.

As an artist, Carretti focuses on a reductive, graphic style that combines the magic of traditional painting with the iterative nature of design. Using a variety of techniques, he layers his pieces slowly over time to create dimension, separation, and rhythm.
